It’s more than just a beer. It’s a way to give back.
So raise a glass to giving this holiday season!
We’re excited to celebrate the return of Frandor Claus, the limited-edition Cherry Cordial Stout brewed in collaboration with Lansing Facts and Frandor Shopping Center. This year’s release continues to combine Old Nation’s craft expertise with the nostalgic flavors of a classic holiday treat—all while supporting families across Mid-Michigan by benefitting the Greater Lansing Food Bank.
With a slightly lower ABV than last year, this year’s version is brewed to 7% ABV. Frandor Claus is made with real cocoa nibs, cherry purée, and vanilla extract, creating a rich, dessert-like flavor reminiscent of the iconic cherry cordial. The festive label, illustrated by Lansing artist Josiah Wood, celebrates Lansing’s landmarks, culture, and community spirit through vibrant, locally inspired artwork.
“Each year, Frandor Claus brings us closer to the Lansing community that means so much to Old Nation,” says Travis Fritts, founder of Old Nation Brewing Co. “It’s more than just a beer—it’s a reminder of how good it feels to share what we make with purpose and give back to the people who’ve supported us from the start.”
Old Nation Brewing Co. and Frandor Shopping Center will once again make donations to the Greater Lansing Food Bank as part of the Frandor Claus release. In the same spirit of giving, we encourage customers to join in by making their own contributions—every donation, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference for local families. Donations can be made directly to the Greater Lansing Food Bank here or via QR codes featured in the brewpub and on in-store posters throughout the state. Together, these efforts help provide meals and support to families in need during the winter season.
Frandor Claus is available at the Old Nation Brewing Co. brewpub in both 4-packs and on draft. It has also begun hitting retailers’ shelves across Michigan. Fans are encouraged to visit early and enjoy this limited release while it lasts.
